About us
Quest Marine Services (Private) Limited is an independent marine surveying and maritime support company serving shipowners, charterers, P&I interests, insurers, cargo stakeholders and other maritime principals across Pakistan’s principal ports.
The company is led by Captain Muhammad Navaid Shuja, Master Mariner (UK), together with a senior multidisciplinary team of master mariners, marine surveyors, chief engineers and operations professionals. Their combined sea-going, shore-based, survey, tanker, cargo, engineering and port-operational experience brings informed technical judgement to every instruction.
Quest Marine’s capabilities include vessel condition and technical surveys, P&I and claims support, cargo and quantity surveys, charter, bunker and draught surveys, container and reefer inspections, and marine advisory and port support. Every assignment is managed around a defined scope, disciplined evidence capture, timely communication and clear reporting.

CEO / Director • Senior Master Mariner
Captain Muhammad Navaid Shuja brings 27 years of command-informed sea and shore experience across vessel operations, marine surveying, draught and bunker quantity work, cargo supervision, P&I-related matters and port-captain responsibilities. As CEO and Director, he leads Quest Marine’s technical strategy, sets the professional standard for every appointment, safeguards independent judgement and retains executive accountability for survey quality, client communication and final delivery. His Master Mariner perspective connects operational reality with clear, evidence-led reporting for domestic and international principals.
Senior Surveyor
Supports survey execution across cargo operations, vessel condition, draught and bunker work, and container-related attendance. His focus is disciplined field observation, accurate measurement, evidence capture and timely reporting to the assignment lead.
Senior Master Mariner & Surveyor
Provides senior nautical judgement for vessel condition, cargo, charter and operational survey assignments. His role supports field attendance, technical assessment and clear reporting where master-mariner perspective is required.
Senior Marine Surveyor
Brings marine-survey, tanker-deck, port-captain and ship-agency experience across Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. His survey scope includes vessel condition, draught and bunker quantity work, cargo inspection, loading and discharge supervision, damage assessment and P&I-related attendance.
Senior Chief Engineer
Brings 30 years of tanker experience, followed by three years in a shore-based role with Pakistan National Shipping Corporation and three years as Port Engineer with BQM. He provides machinery, maintenance and tanker-operational perspective for engineering-focused condition, damage and technical survey support.
Operations & Supply Chain Specialist
Coordinates assignment intake, client onboarding, email correspondence, office operations and document flow, while supporting supply-chain and cargo-related coordination. He connects client instructions with survey mobilisation and maintains communication visibility from appointment through report delivery.
